Through Access to Care (ATC), MisterPharmacist can provide pharmacist-led assessments for additional health concerns that go beyond Ontario’s 28 minor ailments.

ATC uses structured digital clinical workflows created and authorized by collaborating physicians or nurse practitioners.
Your pharmacist completes the assessment with you, reviews the clinical criteria and checks for red flags. If the protocol criteria are met, treatment can be provided through the authorized collaborative medical-directive pathway.
This lets the pharmacy help with selected conditions that sit beyond the independent minor-ailment prescribing program.

You get pharmacist access, a structured clinical pathway and collaboration with authorized prescribers, without automatically starting in an emergency department or waiting weeks for a routine appointment.
Some symptoms need urgent medical assessment, diagnostic testing or emergency treatment. If your assessment identifies a red flag or falls outside the ATC protocol, we will tell you where to seek the appropriate level of care.
